R. Kelly is heading to South Africa later this month, where he'll do a March 21 concert in Johannesburg, followed by a March 23 gig in Durban. 

In addition to hitting the stage, Kelly will do some charity work during his six-day trip, according to South Africa's News24.com.  The website reports that Kelly will visit the Nelson Mandela Children's Foundation in Johannesburg, and he'll also drop in on an orphanage in Alexandra, which is located north of Johannesburg.

Kelly also has an appointment to meet with King Goodwill Zwelithini, who is the reigning King of the Zulu nation. 

This isn't Kelly's first trip to South Africa.  He performed at a showcase in 2009.  He also did a set during the opening ceremony of the 2010 Fifa Soccer World Cup, according to News24.
