Kool DJ Supa Mike, originally from St. Louis, first came to Louisiana to attend Southern University as a Marketing major. He joined the Max 94-One Dream Team in 2001. In his hometown of St. Louis, Kool DJ Supa Mike started mixing at local parties while in junior high. At that time, he hooked up with a group of local DJ's from the local hip hop station, 100.3 The Beat. That experience influenced Supa Mike to develop his skills and travel to the Dirty South. Kool DJ Supa Mike first came to Max 94-One when he participated in the Dream Team Competition and won his spot on the Max 94-One Dream team in 2001. After doing local college parties in Baton Rouge, he hit the airwaves at with Drak Muse on the "Beats 'n Rhymes Hip Hop Show". Supa Mike landed a permanent spot on Max 94-One on the "Beats 'n Rhymes Hip Hop Show" after Drak Muse move to L.A. to further his music career with the Ill Relatives. Kool DJ Supa Mike can be heard on Max 94-One Saturday, Midnight 'til 5am and Sunday from 7 'til Midnight on the "Beats 'n Rhymes Hip Hop Show". Look for Kool DJ Supa Mike at a party near you!
